An old mining cabin in Glines Canyon

Looking back in time (Old West Version)
On this version I wanted the cabin to look like it was from the old west, but have the rest of the picture look more like present day.
Looking back in time
An old mining cabin from the 1800's. Found along the trail up Virginia Pass.
Green Creek cascading down Glines Canyon
Taken just past the old mining cabin that you'll find on the hike from Green Lake to Virgina Pass
It's the one in the background. The closer peak is actually just a ridge that you will pass by when ascending Virginia Pass.
One of the shoulders of Camiaca Peak
The actual peak is above that cliff band and isn't visible from this vantage point. Virginia Pass is to the right of the picture almost off the edge.
Last push up Virginia Pass
As taken from just outside of Green Lake by following the use trail up the canyon.
Glines Canyon and the ridge to Virginia Pass
Virginia Pass is to the left just out of the picture.
Virginia Canyon and the Shepard Crest
As seen from Virginia Pass. Virginia Pass is on Yosemite's NE border and you can see the Cathedral Range far off in the distance.

Cabins at Meiss Meadow
Taken from the junction of the PCT and TRT trails in Meiss Meadow.
One of the many meadows on the PCT between Carson Pass and Echo Summit
This particular one is a little bit South of Showers Lake.

A beautiful, but crowded lake along the PCT, South of Echo Summit.
Sunrise over the Tahoe Basin

Just strolling through another meadow
My friend Josh enjoying the southern end of one of the most beautiful meadows in the Tahoe area.
This bowl just north of Showers Lake is probably one of the most beautiful sections of trail I have ever seen. I highly recommend it in the early to mid-summer when the wildflowers are going off.
Wildflower Heaven Take 2
This take of this scene was edited during my Introduction to Aurora HDR Video Tutorial.
Meadow Lake and Mokelumne Canyon
Taken from the trail between Granite Lake and Grouse Lake
Grouse Lake at sunset
Our camp is nestled up on those rocks on the bottom left of the picture. If you look closely you can see my tent. You can also see the moon rising over the ridge.

Looking south from Deadwood Peak
From here you can see Snow Valley and its meadow right before you and then the mountains south of Ebbet's Pass towards Sonora Pass. It's quite a nice view even with the hazy skies
