Wildflower Heaven
This bowl just north of Showers Lake is probably one of the most beautiful sections of trail I have ever seen. I highly recommend it in the early to mid-summer when the wildflowers are going off.

This is easily one of the best stretches of wildflowers that you can find in the Lake Tahoe area. To get there hike South from Echo Summit or North from Carson Pass. It's about 1 mile from Showers Lake.
