Teardrop Pool at the summit of South Sister
After the snowy winter of 2017, most of the caldera of the South Sister is filled with a permanent snowfield leaving only a small version of it's signature Teardrop Pool. It's technically the highest lake in Oregon.

Taken during the ascent of the South Sister in the Three Sisters Wilderness. Fires in the area made for a surreal sumitting experience since all the smoke had settled in the valleys causing some interesting lighting with the morning sun.
