Frisbee's make for a lot of fun and also a plate. Dual purpose is important when planning what to bring on a 5 day backpacking trip.

After the snowy winter of 2017, most of the caldera of the South Sister is filled with a permanent snowfield leaving only a small version of it's signature Teardrop Pool. It's technically the highest lake in Oregon.
